Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Lawrence Richardson as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. Lawrence is a recent purchaser of a 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring.
Lawrence told me, “I am retired after having worked for thirty something years with a Fortune 500 mining/manufacturing aluminum company. I had assignments in Suriname, South America for 5 years, and Guinea, West Africa for 4 years, and various assignments in several US cities. I am currently living in Atlanta, GA. I spend my time now volunteering, golfing, and gardening/landscaping around the house.
My EV experience started in 2014. Coming from a BMW 6 series, I was not in the market for another car. I had heard about Tesla, and was curious, so decided to take a test drive for the hell of it. Big mistake. Figured out a way to afford it and purchased Tesla Model S a few months later. Shortly thereafter became a 2 Tesla household. No gas vehicles or tools since 2015. Moved from Tesla to Mercedes Benz EQS 450+ (current), Nissan Leaf (very briefly), and Rivian R1T (current). Veteran EV road tripper, even before supercharger network widely available. Early member of EVHybrid Noire.”
